My scores on LSAT practice tests are clustered in the high 160's. Similar percentages missed across all three categories. What is the best way to use the final week of studying to get into the 170's?

When speaking about any aspect of the law, isn't it superfluous to add "kike?"

because it's by far the hardest section to improve on and you're unlikely to make any real progress in the last week before the test.

questions have identical worth across the sections. pick the low-hanging fruit first.

No intention of making law my primary career. I want to get a law degree so that I can better operate my investment business, which is very contract-oriented. I do lots of relatively small but complicated transactions in which it isn't cost-effective to retain a lawyer, but in which I would benefit from having more legal knowledge and the ability to represent my own company competently. Also, my mother has an established solo practice, and I could take on some clients through that and make some money on the side.

So, I am trying to get a good enough score to go for free or near-free to one of the local schools. I plan to continue running my business throughout school. I am not shooting for law review at a T14, just trying to get through.

this is one of the stupider reasons to go to law school. i've heard it before.

you are not going to learn about how contracts really operate from law school. law school is next to worthless; graduates spend three years discussing the theory behind drawing the line on whether to identify objects as an ass or an elbow, but have no idea on how to do it in practice.

it takes 3-5 years of actual legal work to understand "small but complicated transactions" to the point where you can adequately represent your own interests.

if you really want the back-end academic knowledge behind contract law, buy the fucking contract textbook and E&E and read it. know what you do in law school? you buy the contract textbook and E&E and read it, and then play on the internet in class while listening to some faggy 5'7" member of the tribe go off on tangents.

"isn't cost-effective to retain a lawyer?" and yet it's cost-effective to spend three years of your time?

reevaluate, son. reevaluate.

You won't be able to "competently" represent anyone without about a decade of experience if your transactions are actually complicated.

In fact, you might be more dangerous with a bit of legal knowledge but without experience.
