Leaving Wachtell out of it, the V10s charge the same rates/attorney and they are all similarly profitable. Overhead at law firms doesn't vary in a meaningful way. So there's really no reason in comparing how laid back they are in comparison to one another; they'll all work you to death if given the opportunity to do so.

fwiw, i've met a few Cleary associates who didn't seem like your normal biglaw drones. i thought they were pretty obnoxious, but if you're looking for variation from the biglaw mean (to the extent any exists at all) that might be a firm to consider.

ime, you can sometimes get a more laid back experience in foreign offices. i think that self selection for the expat lifestyle *might* get you a more relaxed, fratty & chill environment (not really, of course, but by biglaw standards).
