pays decent and a more laid-back environment than law, finance, or corporate america. but, unlike w/ software engineers, i don't think (this is a superficial impression) the salary/equity upside is there to justify the age discrimination that takes hold as early as mid-30s.

making sure salespeople don't give away the store. keeping track of client relationships. running salesforce queries. reviewing contracts.

if something "sticks," you probably have 3-4 years at most before you get sold to a massive company that fires everyone.
