are we adding CO2 to the atmosphere? Yes
Is CO2 a greenhouse gas? Yes
Is that likely to change the climate, initially warming but also possibly triggering an ice age? Yes and maybe
Does driving an electric car meaningfully change the above? No
Does using CFL lightbulbs meaningfully change the above? No
Is there anything we can do to stop the above? Not without killing more than half the worlds' population and going back to subsistence living for the survivors.
Would such an attempt lead to massive global conflict causing results that are likely worse for humanity than climate change? Yes

(literal retard)
(1) It's CO2, not C02. The O is Oxygen. It's not a number.
(2) Carbon dioxide levels were constant from 0 AD up until the industrial revolution. The amounts of carbon released by the natural world are roughly equivalent to the amounts of carbon absorbed by the natural world.* It wasn't until the industrial revolution that carbon levels begin to rise appreciably. If humans stop burning fossil fuels, carbon levels will stop rising. If you don't understand a concept that simple, I simply cannot engage you in debate.
*I understand that carbon levels do fluctuate due to natural forces if you've looking at timespans of tens of thousands of years... but that's irrelevant to the current discussion. Natural fluctuation bounces from 200 to 300 ppm, and the cycles occur over a span of tens of thousands of years. What's happening now is that we've jumped from about 300 ppm to 397 ppm in a mere 100 years. That's an unprecedented high, reached at an unprecedented rate, and it has nothing to do with cow farts or forest fires.

Yeah bro, that spike on the right is going to be fuckin sweet. Like the middle ages all over again. Our crops are going to love it. This is going to be sweet. I'm gonna find me a nice flat rock now and just wait for the excellent crops to start pouring in.
