Date: October 24th, 2014 11:45 AM Author: concupiscible pontificating crackhouse 1) stay at my firm making ~ $160k + bonus. have good chance at making partner in ~ 3 years, but doesn't seem like that's a big initial bump in comp here (under $200k), so making $300k+ is still several years off and obviously uncertain and would require a shitton of work both billing and client development. I don't like being an associate but don't absolutely need to leave either.
2) go inhouse at F500 with much better QOL and likely similar comp, but little chance for growth. Could obviously do that for a couple years and then try to find a better inhouse job.
3) stay at firm and wait and see what other inhouse jobs come along.
4) get out of law and do ___? |
