If you don't, your screwed. That's why the best way is lying about your address and moving there in a van/RV.
Some larger companies offer housing, but those jobs will be harder to get without experience. If you're really risk adverse, you can find an operator who runs an in-house training program and apply for that.
I just applied to 100+ places then started knocking on doors. Eventually got a call saying "Hey, want to go to work tomorrow?"
