Obama's speeches are great only because they elicit emotions. He raises his voice at the right time, underscores key words at the right time, and his flow is poised and natural. But the points he makes and the claims he puts forth are TTT. His reasoning is TTT.
Cruz's tone is usually consistent in pitch, without intonation. He doesn't provoke feelings and emotions. But if you pay careful attention to what he says — with great thought and reflection — you will see that the power of his speeches are rooted in logic, reason, and wisdom. Cruz is a master of synthesis, interpretation, and analysis.
