I have gotten the feeling that it is not a very positive place to work, in terms of hours and environment. I also gather the compensation isn't so great, and neither are the benefits. For example, I hear bonuses are non-existent. Additionally, the employee insurance contribution is higher than average. But I have a little bit of direct experience that is consistent with this analysis, and I have heard consistent accounts from others as well.
I don't necessarily think it is a bad thing from the company's perspective in terms of efficiency/leanness, but I don't think I would want to work that way. |

They make almost as much money as biglaw for their class level. a lot more money than Microsoft.
The stock options only become a significant part of compensation after the third year.
The corporate culture is not great, but there is no billing either. |
