I think any non CS postdoc is what you meant to say. The industry demand for software is so great that few people will stick around in CS postdocs without a short path to a tenure track job.

I assume that math is slightly better than the shit-fest for postdocs in biology, but I don't think it's like CS where you can work at Google for a couple years and still hope to apply for a faculty job.

it's not just CS bro... shit like econ phds or some bullshit phd in MBA fields are orders of magnitude better for actually copping a real tenure track job. there is just such a fucking flood of no talent trust fund immature retards clogging up the humanities phd pipeline. and no students want to take those subjects anymore because of the economy. so there's more demand for practical shit, far less demand for humanities type shit, and yet there's a far greater supply of humanities shitheads.. it's simple math
