It is not as trendy as Logan or 14th st or as ritzy as Georgetown, but it is more clean cut than all of those (cleaner, whiter, safer). If you are looking for slores and the best bar/nightlife scene then look downtown. If you are looking for the most comfortable and all around enjoyable life then look in Arlington (NOT crystal city though. I'm talking about the Orange line).
