pro job experience and rad prof rec.s are flame. they probably won't care unless YALE | HARVARD | STANFORD but since you have a 3.3 uGPA you don't have any shot.

you might as well retake or be content with your Cornell or GULC acceptance.

might try to cop cornell or GULC and use it as leverage to see how much scholarship money i can get at CU-Boulder law

i knew someone that had to choose between CU and Cornell and CU ended up giving him 2 free yrs tuition

it's T14 with $$$ or BUST now-a-days (have u been reading the news?)

just look at the posts from xo poasters with TTT JDs. They are remarkably unhappy. e.g., johnsmeyer, donny, bloodacre

i realize this, the only conditions under which I would consider this TTT is with a similar scholarship package (2 yrs+) and JD/MBA. I'm a UG there right now so it makes it a bit easier. I'm realistic about the situation however. So when it comes down to it CU is out if they cannot provide what i want and I plan on going into a fin aid meeting if i get accepted and before considering it, telling them straight up, I know the job market and I want to get your degree but you'll have to make this worth it for me because I'm not dunce and refuse to be taken like the rest of the LSs here.

Ah, you're young. I, myself, am only 21:) Welcome to xo's 24 and under club.

Their employment outcomes aren't so bad. If you can leverage close to a full-ride and you plan on practicing in the State of Colorado and would be content living there for the rest of your life, I'd say go for it.

you see, that's where the problem is. I want to work in the northeast. and CU has a small 10 percent big law placement rate. so i was hoping the MBA could help in regards to corporate law. and if i do go to CU I wont be happy with anything less than top of the class. not like "oh your smart" top of the class. but like fucking ruthless, i want to destroy the other TTT mates so badly that they come out of moot court crying and the profs recommend i tone it down.

Lol. Well LSAT scores strongly predict LS grades (and bar passage rates, to boot). So you have the capacity to PWN, but you are below CU's uGPA median, which means you are lazier than most students there. I fear that you won't effectively put your PURE | INTELLECTUAL | HORSEPOWER in play when it comes to preparing for exams.

If you do PWN, I don't know how much an MBA from CU would help getting biglaw in the Northeast. Your best bet is Cornell, to be honest. Half of their graduating class cops biglaw in the Northeast.

thanks for the advice. i was a dumb undergrad the past few years. My major is broadcast production and political science with a few other things tacked on. I was lazy as shit my first 3 yrs and copped a 3.2 uGPA but i copped the top 2 broadcast news internships in the state. but by doing so found out news, although maybe my forte, isn't something i want to do. lol i wish i could get rid of a few Cs and a D i had while trying to cop a Elec Eng degree soph yr.

... fuck. this happened in HS too, didnt do shit, copped a 3.2. now i regret it.

i also want the versitility of and MBA, in case i decided i hate law or can only cop a shitlaw jerb.

skilling told HBS "im fucking smart" when they asked if he was smart. so i figure if i go in with a my genuine attitude they may see me as a student unlike the others. if not then they're just like UG admissions people and they can sod off then, don't want anything to do with an administration like CUs UG admin.
