I still think at some point I'll pull the trigger. Probably my car after my next car if I can't make it happen next time. Thing is, want to see how long it will last. I read 400k miles (minus battery), and if that is the case then that is over 2x what other cars manage. Then it isn't so bad.

Otherwise, a really practical car. Air suspension, almost 700hp, can do a road trip and pay $0 for gas (Tesla Superchargers are free after you buy it), etc.

dad worked two jobs to put me through school. he was never at home. I only saw him on Sundays really.

more importantly, I have always lived in large cities with excellent public transportation. no need to learn how to drive. no need to own a car. I gain little from having a car.

So have I and I always had a car. A car is freedom, bro. And women appreciate it. There is something emasculating about needing someone else to drive you around.

i have heard that maseratis are a bitch to maintain and the build quality isn't so great from multiple owners, and if you google "maserati build quality" you'll find a lot of reviewers saying the same thing

not sure how you can lump all "3 series" into one category. a 335i/435i is a great car. it's a superior car to any 5-series, if performance and fun to drive is your thing. if having a coupe wasn't impractical for starting a family, i'd go back to having a 335i/435i in a heartbeat.

one of my favorite biglaw cliches that shows itself over and over is the associate buying the shitty 3 series because they "like to drive something fun."

lol at these shrews and jewfag nebbishes who can barely drive insisting that their entry level BMW is some kind of superior driving experience for them over and other shitty sedan that is driven below 45 mph for 99.9% of their ownership.
