odds are in that kind of job you'd have a supervisor up your ass and it wouldn't be stress free.

if you have to get up and go somewhere everyday, it's not stress free. eventually the inner demons of striving wake up.

Stress-free jobs are a myth. The only way to make a job stress-free is to not care about it, which means not needing the money.

Any 9-5 where you like your boss and co-workers is credited. The actual job title doesn't really matter, as long as you like those around you.

It has to be a job that just stops at 5, and doesn't have ongoing things to worry about, yes.

i thought paralegaling was pretty stress free. nothing you do actually matters that much. lots of filing forms and same shit over and over again. Getting paid extra for overtime makes you feel better about sitting at your desk at 11pm.

Depends on the person. I've had this type of job before. It can be cr IF you're aimless, don't have any greater aspirations, and don't mind having unmotivated, unintelligent coworkers and an idiot boss. If you're smart or motivated, you'll probably end up hating it like I did. Also, these jobs are generally very simple and repetitive; they can drive smart people crazy.

Actually, come to think of it, this was quite literally the job I had just before coming to LS. I totally forgot it fit OP's description.

It actually was super chill, but at that income level you can forget about having any savings or being able to attract a desirable woman.

yea im not necessarily saying work the late shift at mcdonalds..im saying maybe a fun/interesting job that pays less because its, say, a non profit or cultural gig, and in exchange, though you work hard, you get your nights and weekends 100% free, both literally and mentally

35k is a bit low. Bump that to 50k and I think you could have a pretty chill life as long as you didn't waste your money on frivolous crap.
