It's not that bad after 1L but the idea that it's the most fun time in your life or anything other than a complete waste of time/really expensive 2 year vacation is bullshit. |

I hated the classes, didn't like the pseudo-intellectual aspect of it, tired quickly of the gunners who read the cases and every supplement available, didn't like the politicizing of everything, and didn't like living like a poor. It also started feeling very small and every conversation was related to class, gossip, or about callbacks/firms.
In hindsight, I would have enjoyed it more had I worked for a year or two first instead of going straight through. Also, I would have tried for JD/MBA instead of just wanting to GTFO of school. |
