WHen I was doing SA interviews, I converted some absurd number of screeners to offers because of my grades. I imagine it won't be nearly that easy this time around. |

It's significantly more difficult to delegate anything but the most basic stuff to non-clerks who are 1-3 years out of law school. A brand new associate coming from COA/dct will typically have much better intuition, a greater understanding of good versus bad brief-writing, and ability to discuss strategic issues more intelligently than non-clerks.
