hours are manageable, 50-60, with ~10 of those working off hours or at my pace. travel a ton, though its to major metros, primarily nyc, chi, sf. i negotiated travel for my family as well in the event that i'm somewhere for an extended period.
stress level varies but manageable. couple years ago it was pretty intense since they handed me a shit business which took me two years to turnaround. now it's a different kind of stress. learn to manage stress, it's always going to be there no matter what you do or where you do it at.
i take fulfillment from my personal life, my family, friends, the things i get to do. i used to associate my worth with my job and title (a lot of what i see that goes on xo), but somewhere along the line, i realized that i'm a cog like everyone else, a bigger cog maybe but a cog nonetheless. it is kinda cool building a new entrant into a marketplace and watching it grow and knowing that you had a large part to play in that. that being said, the fulfillment that comes from that is more intellectual than emotional.

yes and no. no in that i basically gave up my 20s to get to where i am today. also, my mom worked in a sweatshop and my dad toiled in menial jobs to give my bros and me a chance at life so i don't feel bad that their sacrifices yielded fruit. i read this on reddit the other day and it's pretty 180 - one day the suns heat may be unbearable for my children, so today i plant a tree.
yes, in that i'd like to do more volunteer and give back more than i currently am doing.
