Neither was "hard," per se, but I was disappointed with my LSAT score. I was averaging 177+ on all the old tests and promptly screwed up the real thing thanks to misreading a couple questions.

I just did it during school, but was probably "intensively" preparing for 5-6 months overall. I'd guess that I took about 30-40 full practice tests overall, and scored 177 or better on at least 75%.

For comparison, I think I only spent 1-2 weeks prepping for the SAT, and I only took 2 practice tests.

Yeah, a 173, lower than literally any of my practice tests. Hell I think on my diagnostic that I took as a college freshman I got a 174 or 175.

What sucks is that 3 of my misses were just due to me misreading something or otherwise being unusually dumb. I'd usually have at least one of those on each practice test, so I was ready, but three was unusual. If I'd simply followed the norm, I'd have had a 176, still below what I hoped for, but not a big underperformance.

After you took your PTs, did u review the whole thing? Or did u only look at questions you got wrong or questions that have u difficulty?

Probably lsat. I got a 750 math and 700 verbal sat without studying. (Got 800 writing without studying on sat ii's.) Got a 170 lsat after studying two months. I think a lot of people max out on the lsat earlier too since its more of an IQ test than the sat.

LSAT, there was a lot more at stake, and I prepped for that shit for 4 months. I took some SAT course that I got for free, but I basically fucked around and didn't do shit 80% of the time.

I did have a much better LSAT score, though.

I took the SAT high and drunk and outperformed

I took the LSAT sober and performed

neither caused me any stress or felt difficult; standardized tests are my safe space
