Its clear: our legal system has setup a painstakingly difficult process to take a human life. Contrast that with the relative ease a GED cop can simply blow a citizen away.
In both cases, the killing is justified and ultimately condoned by the state.
In my opinion, the major problem with the latter is that by and large, cops are the ones that have developed their own use of force rules. BIG SURPRISE they end up with tactics that place any perceived threat into TERMINATE ZONE. |
