I usually will stand until lunch, then sit for the afternoon. Feel much better about myself for not spending 8-10 hours sitting down. I'm sure it's much better for my back. Highly recommend this.
Also just read the post about getting a standing mat. That sounds nice, I'm gonna order one right now. |

That's what I often do.
Also, if you're just meeting with one person, have a walking meeting. People love those and better ideas and decisions come out of them because there's a sense of urgency and a desire to get things done. You conclude the meeting back at the office, seated, and rehash for two minutes.
