Yes, it is a biglaw firm in the strictest sense. Biglaw literally just means a large firm, and with nearly 700 lawyers in a dozen offices across the world, Faegre Baker Daniels no doubt qualifies.
But when people think of a typical biglaw firm, they usually imagine not just a big firm but a firm based in a major market, paying top dollar salaries, and enjoying a national reputation. Faegre Baker Daniels doesnt have a meaningful presence in any major city, pays associate salaries comparable to midlaw firms in each of the secondary markets it is in, and doesn't have a Vault ranking. So your self doubt is understandable.
