Job interviews done in groups

Date: April 14th, 2015 11:38 PM Author: hairraiser piazza Ever been to a job interview where all the candidates gather in a conference room and they start doing an interview process with all of them? Obviously not personal stuff, just questions about goal-setting, what makes you a great asset, etc?
Are these good strategies for hiring people or why are they using them?
The 2nd part of the process, the higher ups will be present while everyone introduces themselves and try to sell themselves to the audience.
How's that for a job interview. |

And then as they filed out, they brought in a group of about 7 chad looking dudes for the next interview. |

lots of startups do these type interviews esp for sales jobs, where you basically have to "present" a product to a room full of interviewers and interviewees. |
