Friend told he'd be denied tenure because he's against AA

A friend of mine is a high achieving scientist (tenure track at top school) in a field of physics that has about 20% women. On facebook, he makes a remark that he doesn't believe there should be women's only conferences since its counter prodctive.
Cue some dumb facebook debate, where he uses casual language to say that he doesn't think sexism is the reason women drop out of STEM but rather other things like the stress of raising children and publishing good work.
Some bitch circulates his comments and posts really shitty unfair captions as summaries. Also finds embRrassing he said 6 years ago on Facebook after reading his ENTIRE timeline.
Well, enough shit has been stirred that his colleagues met him and told him this would strongly work against him when he's up for tenure.
Fuck this shit, he's great at what he does. |

2) of course it isn't. That doesn't mean that the department wasn't spooked. We literally have a couple of professors who have sexual harassment complaints, and some girls on reddit made posts about how grad students hit on them and made them uncomfortable. The Title IX director had to sign up for reddit and post in the thread, LMFAO
