I went through 4 years of undergrad without ever having to do this, I hear about people complaining about them, is this a thing they do at TTT's only?

Yeah, this is more of a "years out of UG" issue than "Harvard v. TTT" issue

Yeah, that was really awkward phrasing on my part. In my experience group projects are a newish addition to the UG curriculum but are becoming more common. Teachers don't want to assign individual essays because they take longer to grade and the students can't write for shit.

I had a few.

In every case, I just did the work myself or with one other person of the group.

once. state school. class was full of liberal millennials. the one weird trick is to do the work up front and tell these limp faggots what to do. then they'll make it all colorful or put on costumes and act it out for the class or give monologues to the class about race and gender intersectionality and how it relates to your project (it doesn't). your shitlib prof will squeal with delight

I was in advertising/comm major so yes, there were many group projects. I'm not sure it's a TTT thing as much as a disciplinary thing. Some areas require it more to simulate the eventual work environment.

Yes. As others have said, the key is to do the work yourself and direct the others. I convinced some good natured doods to do a project on the aristocrats joke, which involved showing an example in class. I chose the South Park version which makes fun of 9/11 victims among other things. My groupmates pussied out once we were presenting and didn't want to show it but we did it anyway and copped dat A-.

I graduated during the first W bush administration and only had to do this ONCE, it was senior year too, and in a sociology class. lol I was too fucking stoned all the time to even meet up with my groupmates but still managed to make it to later meetings and pulled my weight.

In a few of the UG bschool courses I took, yes. I'd always team up with some other other white guy or white girl who'd be in the group and we'd run the project and divy up work between our asian underlings.
