The baguette is a dollar. I make 4 buns from it.
25cents each bun, then. Buns are about 40 cents if you get proper hamburger buns.
People compliment the bread all the time and ask where i get it.
AGAIN- you need to understand something about mine/oil jobs. Starting pay in a mine averages 20/hr (varies on job. Mechanics start at 23). Overtime brings that to 30/hr. No one gives a fuck here that they are spending more for quality food. And as I demonstrated, even without considering quality, my food is cheaper by weight than the gas station shit.

where's the cheese on burger? the bottom? did you melt it with the burger? (if not definitely do that). if it's on the top above the tomato, definitely fix in future. also, toast the bun a bit with some butter bro. makes a big difference
that burger looks 10x better than the one you poasted earlier, good job.
beans look good but a little watery? also beans with burger may be a bit weird? will that appeal to your dudes?

Yeah, I can drain the beans, absolutely. I have a draining spatula i can start using.
My next moves are macaroni and cheese, and gourmet burgers. I may get rid of my pulled pork since it just takes up room in the smoker when really it should be packed full with brisket only!
By the way my truck still says "Georgetown University Law Truck/Food Center" on it. No customers have asked what the fuck this means but maybe i'll just keep it there!

plus the wares. So maybe 9 dollars? This excludes propane/rent/electric etc.

also, did you see what i wrote above?
one thing you could consider is doing what a lot of restaurants do and putting onion, tomato, lettuce etc on the side and letting them put it in themselves. OR just ask them if they want that shit on the burger, if not you save a few pennies on those items. it can add up to your margins
