SO got a job in Chicago and I'm looking to lateral. I'm a corp midlevel at a V20 firm in NYC.
Anyone have any insight on firms in Chicago? My main concerns are not getting paid below market and not getting Lathamed in the near future, so it seems like Kirkland may be the best option.

Thanks -- forgot about Jones Day.
I read on ATL that Sidley pays below market bonuses. Latham pays market or above but will probably Latham at the next sign of a slowdown. Seems like Mayer and Winston aren't doing so well, but I don't know. I don't know much about Jones Day or Skadden in Chicago.
