Lost bball game yesterday because millennial "male" could not change tire (Earl)

We had only 5 guys playing yesterday because most people were on trips or had father's day plans.
Hour before the game, one of the guys on the team - 24 years old - texts and says he got a flat tire (20 miles from the gym) and was waiting for AAA. This guy was subbing in and doing us a favor, so I couldn't just tell him to be a fucking man and change his own tire and hurry the fuck up.
It took AAA an hour to get there and of course he missed the game.
We ended up playing 4 on 5 and losing 80 to 90. The other team shot 60% from the field and had 30 assists. Me and our PG accounted for 70 of our points. The other team hit all of their open shots and they passed well so there was nothing we could do.
We played them earlier in the season with 7 guys and won by 28. We would have won with anyone standing in as a 5th.
I can't decide if the millennial sub actually had a flat tire, or if he was just hungover and did not feel like showing up. Bullshit excuses either way. |
