1. Slowly losing yourself. Long-term constant stim use clearly changes your disposition, and after a point it becomes hard to tell where you end and the real effects of addy begins.
2. I never really sleep well on it (regardless of when I dosed). The days just kind of run into each other and at some point I kind of pass out. Nothing feels natural about the way I sleep.
3. Hard as fuck to just chill and turn your brain off.

I am legitimately ADHD. I am smart, but I could not apply myself or function in society.
I use 10mg XR 3x a week and then 5m 1x a week, then off on the weekends and usually Friday.
Use enough to help, but not too much. I don't have any side effects. I concede that I need (1) more water when I am on it and (2) the horse w/ blinders thing is real and sometimes I get too "deep," but that is substantially better for me than the lack of adderall.
Y'all sound like abusers who don't need it and take too much. |

XR has to be metabolized or processed in a certain way (depending on the stim) and that can cause some really bad side effects for some ppl. A lot of the increased anxiety etc. is b/c of protein synthesis and the way ure body processes it. My experience with XRs is that the crash is way worse and the final few hours are ineffective anyway. They also make it easier to take more than you need, and are more taxing on your body.
