I actually have a valid contact lens prescription but it's not exactly for what I order. Apparently the FTC has some bullshit rule that requires sellers to verify prescriptions with prescribers; a prescription is deemed "verified" if they get NO RESPONSE after 8 business hours.
So why don't I just have them call me and I'll never pick up, or put the doc's phone number but be "accidentally off" by a digit so that it goes nowhere?

Yea it's 100% a BS rule.
So should I just have the seller call "myself" to verify the prescription? If no one answers, it gets auto-verified.
