Madonna belongs. She was hugely popular for most of the 80s/90s. Probably the biggest popstar during those decades after MJ. And she's had such a huge lasting impact on female pop acts. They are all still basically doing Madonna's schtick today. |

if we were doing this by impact/influence on future musicians, we'd have to include guys like buddy holly and probably the glenn miller orchestra. |
