I have no doubt that I will drive the MBE before me while hearing the lamentations of its women, etc.
And I can spot all the relevant things on the essays. Some of it is last minute studying I need to do but, fuck me, there is NO WAY I am going to be able to accurately recite the elements like a rote memorization super study bro.

Yeah it sucks. I'm beginning to suspect that the model/sample essays IN NO WAY reflect the average (passing) student's answers. With some of the sample answers I've seen it's just like there is no human way that someone could have read the prompt, identified every conceivable issue, and then barfed up boilerplate verbatim for every single one in 60 minutes.
As for me, I'm just trying to focus on the most commonly tested issues and the elements of causes of actions, etc. Might have to wing if it I get hit with some obscure rule or exception.

IRAC. Always be IRAC.
I spot the issue. Just use your brain, you did a law degree. 1 sentence. Points for getting the issue.
R write down some rule, ideally the right rule, but if not, then any rule. Maybe 0 points for a nonsense rule, maybe 1/2 points for half the rule right. 2 sentences, 3 absolute tops.
A whatever rule you wrote down above, apply the given facts to it correctly. You get points for correct application to the facts of an incorrect rule.
C conclusion correctly following on from correct application to incorrect rule gets some points even if not full.
