How can we hold confidence if they do the complete opposite thing 6 months to 2 years down the road or never follow up on initiatives they brought up during the State of the Union speeches?
We no longer have that trust. We are extremely skeptical of our rulers and whether they serve the nation's best interests. This leads to a society where many will say "fuck it" to the concept of America and just be out for themselves, which is what we're already seeing nowadays anyway. |
