You have a decent hook but really hammer home the international side of things

EDIT: I would generally recommend having atleast one top school for round 2 so you if you get dinged everywhere in R1 you can adjust your essays etc for R2
but if you are URM then you need to fck it up bad to get dinged at all R1 schools with your scores/mil experience
definitely apply to S
Do HSWBoothNW in R1
Do Columbia Haas Duke Tuck, NYU/Darden in R2 if needed
I think with above average essays and recs you should be able to get into HBS and something in R1 |

you still need to sell your story and write good essays and excellent recs
I would say you have like > 60% chance at HBS now
Make sure you dont get mediocre recommendations
By URM I am assuming black/hispanic or native american. nothing else matters. play up that angle. |

Also come up with general themes you want to address and divide it among various ppl so there is no overlap
finally get it only from ppl who are willing to play the game. you should pretty much write or atleast edit recommendation letters. if somebody is not willing to keep you involved and write it fully on their own without your input avoid them |

I written letters very few times for ppl applying for MS/PhD in STEM and I only tell them how strong my recommendation will be and never let them even see my letters or influence what I write
lol at doing this shit for MBA which is all about stories and networking bullshit/parties for 2 years
