What Can Fake Rape Accusations Cause

The rape culture myth is causing much harm in western countries. There is an epidemic of fake rape accusations, which are shadowing the real rape cases. In Brazilian prisons there is a standard rule between the criminals: rape is the worst crime and the rapist gets raped and humiliated by other prisoners in the same cell. That’s what happened to Oliveira: severally raped during 2 years and 7 months.

He wasn’t even in the city at the time he was accused of committing a rape. If he could afford justice, this fact would have been quickly checked and he would never have gone through terror. But, as I said before, the unfortunate people end up paying for the myths and panic created by the wealthy societies. He was finally freed, but got diagnosed with aids - his life is shattered.

In Brazil the rape culture myth created by American feminist social justice warriors is strangely embraced and enforced.

Brazil is seen by USA feminists as a country with high inequality rate. Strangely, in such unequal country, more women graduate than men, they wear whatever they want, they live longer and suffer far less outside violence than men, there are several laws to protect women against abuse and Brazilian president is a woman. When the American “dating coach” Julien Blanc got banned from Australia, Brazil was really fast to also ban the guy, although he has never even tried to enter the country.

With all this data, Brazilians still believe they live in the famous rape culture horror. They hear every year at the UN how they are backwards in equality, so they create strategies to stop all this ‘unfairness’ against women: They spread fake numbers and create insane laws such as straight incarceration before the investigation for rape claims. Then unfortunate individuals, such as Heberson Oliveira, end up victims of unfair punishment.

The situation he goes through is even worse than simply losing his own life. He is father of two children. The life of the little ones will never be the same again, as their father is psychologically and physically harmed, and incapable of working or living a normal life.

Finally, let’s realize: We do not live in a rape culture! Just as I mentioned before, rape is seen even by other criminals as the worst crime a one can commit. Rapists are despised even by society and even by it’s delinquents.

There is no good in spreading such myth. It’s creating unnecessary panic, encouraging people to make false accusations and destroying innocent lives.

I believe there are good intentions behind the consternation and fake alarming data, which is encourage women to report rapes. But it’s not really helping. In reality they are only harming people that already have a difficult and unfair life. Is it fair to make their life even worse for the sake of an attempt to save people that might not even be harmed?
