I'm speaking of the three-year programs at Columbia, Penn, Northwestern, and perhaps Yale (although the value add there from the MBA might be minimal).
In the tech startup world, founders (who generally hate lawyers) will be more likely to hire you for in-house legal work because they will trust that you "understand business."
It also seems like a good way for a wannabe MBA with mediocre work experience to hedge their bets, since they can do both law firm and finance/consulting OCI.
