Puppydood is a great dog but won't fetch. He will run after the tennis ball, pick it up, get bored and do other things. Would be 180 if he would bring it back to me so I could tire him out but he refuses. All suggestions appreciated.

That's what I did. Eventually I phased out the treats when he realized that once he brought back the ball the fun started all over again, so that was the reward.

Also strongly recommend kikopups whole training methodology.

Well I have wanted once since I was 4. I rescued an adult when I was 28 - he was already 15 and sick when we got him and we mostly focused on making him comfortable in his last days.

And I got my first puppy this year, at the age of 32.

And he grew instantly. Like we only took a few pictures when he was really little. He was 15 pounds when we got him and now he's 43 pounds.
