different scores for different populations is not evidence of test bias. if SAT scores for blacks substantially underpredicted college GPA, this would be a different story.
"SAT scores don't help as much as high school GPA and curriculum do in determining whether a student will be successful in college, research has found."
and they leave out the critical part about significant incremental validity from using SAT scores in predicting GPA. |
