I drive a Honda fit and know nothing about motorcycles. My acquaintance wrote a cover letter for me indicating I owned a bike. I got a call from a partner who said they were over flowing with work and that my cover letter made me stand out. He said we owned the same type of motorcycle. I told him you can't beat the freedom of a bike and he laughed and asked me to come in next week. He said the job is basically mine and that he can't wait to talk about bikes with me at the interview. I've never been on a motorcycle. I read my cover letter and asked my friend for advice but haven't heard back. Any quick ways I can learn about motorcycles or rent one to practice driving on? 4. Learn the basics of motorcycle terminology (e.g. CCs is cubic centimeters) - maybe you can find an online glossary?
5. Learn about some of the popular bikes (Kawasaki Ninja, Suzuki GSX-R)
Honestly it's VERY hard to fake this shit. I'm a big, huge, ultra-obsessive car and truck fanatic, and I have been for my entire life, and if you're not as much of a fanatic as I am then I'll figure that out as soon as you open your mouth. |

The boss talked to me about bikes for about 2 minutes but I BSed it well enough and we talked business, I just got called in for a second interview with the main partner. They had at least 10 attorneys and 20 staff, even though the website has only a few attorneys listed. |
