bad grades at a non-flagship state UG, crushed the LSAT, attended T14, got V100 biglaw. paid off my loans this year, living a comfortable life, and have at least two more years to bank $ at my firm before either chasing breakfast or going in-house. didn't really work exceptionally hard or do exceptionally well at any stage other than the LSAT.
how do people fuck this up?

No, it is HIGHLY PRESTIGIOUS.
