I have a pretty good numbering & indentation scheme going on, but everytime I try to restart numbering in what I intend to be a new section/list, under a new heading, it screws up the numbering elsewhere in the document.

Anyway to "fix" the numbering in a list so that once you consider it done, its numbers don't change anymore?

In the pic below, why is my next line #7 instead of #2?

Use outline view.

I did it all through LS and it was awesome.

Anything else? Do I still have to change the way I use commands like:

1. Heading 1

2. Subtitle

3. Commence customized Outline Style

4. Restart Numbering

No you just indent to go down. It changes the size, properties and shade of blue for each level.

Play with it for 10 minutes. It can seem burdensome at first but after a day or two you should be okay.

And to build on the other poaster - why the fuck are you outlining this early?
