the primary wrapped up. The fact he continues to engage in this petty shit and is unable to control himself is the reason why he can't win. It was fine to do all the tweeting and flaming to get the base riled up and get their support and attention in the beginning, but the more he does this the worse it looks for him. Time to start acting presidential and make Cruz/Kasich's criticisms fall away.

you thought it was an act? he can't act reasonable because he's not. it would be the worst thing to happen to the country if he became president.

Explain how this would be the worst thing to happen to this country. Also consider that career politicians who are supposed to be reasonable thought it was OK to use/fund/train Islamic Jihad fighters in Afghanistan, Invade Iraq in 2003 and overthrow Qadaffi

so the fact that he gets in petty fights on twitter means he is going to be worse than these ppl especially when the best way to describe his foreign policy is non-interventionist?

answer my question: Carter/Reagan ran big states, Dubya ran texas for 2 terms, Hillary has been a powerful national politician for 20 years and they all fcked up beyond belief.

so knowing how govt works is neither necessary nor sufficient for being a successful president

Saying he knows shit about government is not a predictor for what will happen. Success of Presidency depends on your overall vision and ability to understand pros/cons and future impact of your decisions.

Trump "may/could" be shit but we know and it is proven Hillary is shit.

so this whole sky is falling attitude is ridiculous especially when Hillary is alternative and if anything we all should be freaking out over her. trump would never fall for the shit below

>>>

Mrs. Clinton was won over. Opposition leaders “said all the right things about supporting democracy and inclusivity and building Libyan institutions, providing some hope that we might be able to pull this off,” said Philip H. Gordon, one of her assistant secretaries. “They gave us what we wanted to hear. And you do want to believe.”

Her conviction would be critical in persuading Mr. Obama to join allies in bombing Colonel Qaddafi’s forces. In fact, Mr. Obama’s defense secretary, Robert M. Gates, would later say that in a “51-49” decision, it was Mrs. Clinton’s support that put the ambivalent president over the line.

It is necessary but not sufficient. And to the extent it isn't necessary it would require someone with a lot of introspection, etc. who knew their limits. Also, even GWB looks like Cicero next to Trump. This is a guy who is completely ignorant but acts like he knows shit and just makes it up. It's insane.

Its a very valid and important question to ask if Trump or Hillary has the judgement and ability to think calmly about serious decisions and properly evaluate the impact and consequences

You obviously think he is terrible and say even worse than GWB. You are entitled to that opinion but let me ask you why? GWB was terrible in this regard (Iraq, Social Security,FEMA etc) and on what basis do you think Trump will be worse?

Trump said Merkel was making a big mistake with her migration policy last summer and he was proven right. Even somebody like Merkel who is miles ahead of any US politician showed poor judgement and inability to understand the obvious consequences of her decision.

Veteran politicians like McCain/Lindsey think we should go to war over Ukraine. Trump has said Ukraine is not really relevant to our interests and we should have never meddled there. Who has the better judgement here?

Finally Trump is the only politician to openly hit Saudi Arabia for islamic extremism while our politicians keep praising our great ally

it seems like you are mistaking his petulant nature and buffoonish antics for lack of judgement or ability to understand problems. I beg to differ

why do you keep telling yourself these fairy tales about Trump's alleged "non-interventionism"? Trump supported the Iraq war and was beside himself with anger about Obama's foot-dragging on Ghaddafi.

anti-trumpmos aren't able to answer this. they know that their preferred establishment candidates (and the establishment itself) has a horrendous record of recent failures, but they remain slavishly loyal to a failing regime.

he gets more laughs and retweets from those who already support him, but you are now seeing substantial support form behind cruz and even kasich who was polling in the single digits just a short time ago.

Sadly, this is CR. I was bullish on Trump's chances to win the nomination from very early on, but remain bearish on actually winning the general. It's hard to see how getting into nonsense over who has the hotter wife helps in the general.
