No. Although we did conquer / purchase land from the Spanish and Mexicans that was populated by some Spaniards / Mexicans who stole the land from some Native Americans a few hundred years before.
Keep in mind that 90% of the Mexicans that have flowed into the USA in the past 25 years are heavily-native mestizos or pure natives from south of the Sonora deseart. Back when the US jacked land from the Spaniards and Mexicans, those mud people had nothing to do with the SPaniard elite who ruled over them or the more Spanish-leaning mestizo cowboys from up north. Rediculous to say California or Arizona are "their land" when they just popped up from 1000 miles south.
There's a reason why the whiter Mexicans you talk to who have been in the USA for a long time despise the short stumpy mud natives that they get lumped together with.
