Short term memory pwnage on WEED - or early onset dementia?

Date: April 27th, 2016 4:38 PM Author: Geriatric spectacular sound barrier quadroon Since I've gotten my medical weed card and volcano vape, I've been "smoking" a lot more weed - usually right before bed. Sometimes 3-4 times a week.
If I have to work at night till midnight or later (which is not infrequent) i have a hard time going to bed afterwards unless I have a glass of bourbon poison or a bag of weed vapor.
I love weed and find it extremely relaxing at night. Because I vape or eat instead of smoke I have not noticed any adverse effects on my cardio conditioning. I can still run 5 miles the next day with no issue - when I smoked a bowl in the past it would definitely affect the lungs the next day.
Aside from being a little groggy in the morning, one thing I notice is that some words or names that I know don't come to me after smoking a lot.
On Sunday morning I was thinking of Batman v. Superman and while I could remember Ben Affleck, I could not for the life of me remember Henry Cavill's name. Same with Christian Bale from the Dark Knight movies. I knew exactly who the actor is but could not place his name for almost an hour. I also could not remember Bradley Cooper's name - all no homo of course. Once I looked up American Sniper, I remembered Cooper and then Christian Bale and Cavill came to me immediately. Also no homo.
I havent smoked in the past two nights, and seem to fine memory-wise - though right now I was just unable to remember Julianne Moore's name for about 5 minutes.
Is this normal or is the weed melting my brain. And even if it is, is this worth it? Does not affect my work at all. |
