Friend wants me to invest in his start-up, valued at $4mm

They will take a % fee from each transaction.
I told him I think there are other similar apps out there and asked him how many members they have.
He invested $100k already at a $4mm valuation and says they're rolling it out later this month with only 100 test members so far. $0 revenue so it's pre-revenue.
What is the proper valuation here?

tasks + classes + used items is just putting it all together in a trying-to-be-everything-to-everyone shitstew. |
