I start every workout with chin-ups/pull-ups. It's like my sport. My DL sucks because I hurt my back a few months back. First time I've done them that heavy in a while.

im just using myself as a reference. im a weak guy, but 4 sets of 10 pull ups and your dl numbers i can do, but i cant bench press 225, i cant even bench press 185 for reps, thats how weak i am.

yeah it does feel uncomfortable for my shoulders too, now that you mention it. thats why i dont do them very often. pretty sure its cause my shoulder flexibility is terrible.

My gym doesn't have that belt with the hook and I'm too cheap to buy one. Sometimes I put a 25 pound dumbbell between my legs if I've got a workout partner. Pretty hard to hook much more weight with your legs.
