not really sure how long this job will last- 2-3 years maybe? then to who knows what. but very, very sweet now... low stress, good pay, excellent qol. just got prelim offer for ausa in same state though (criminal div). pay 70k, but fed job, could be exciting. will be more stress. will be less dead end.

IDK, if it's major metro AUSA, could lead to lucrative career options down the line.

I know a few AUSAs working in major east cost cities, they all work comparable hours to big-lawyers in their areas for a lot less pay, but ALL of them seem to love their jobs and have no desire to go back to private practice.
