Relatively low ceiling, not good experience to sell anything else since you're not really "selling" a product just getting doctors to sign off that you met with them and told them about your product.
You're visiting the same doctors over and over, against their will, trying to schmooze receptionists and bringing Applebee's to bribe your way in for a five minute chat.
You'll be micromanaged. You work in an insanely regulated environment, can't even give out branded trinkets anymore much less entertain docs with a nice dinner. And the industry is mostly moving away from this sort of sales, just hiring some babes to get a bit of face time and laying off the guys who made it a career.
90% of your time is sitting in traffic fully suited in your company Nissan. |
