There used to be quite a few Germans but they were almost entirely ethnically cleansed at the end of the second world war. |

One thing it does lack is good beaches. It only has a thin strip of coastline which is pretty scenic but without a decent beach. |

Slovenia has much better mountains and lakes than Australia but Australia has better beaches, plains, deserts etc. Slovenia has some very scenic forests but they are tiny compared with the giant forests and jungles in Australia.
Australia is a beautiful large country, Slovenia is a beautiful small country. |
