ANYONE here have a SOLVENT TRAP for their ASSAULT RIFLE?

Apparently a "solvent trap" is a device that threads onto the end of your barrel and catches solvent as it flows out during cleaning. That part's totally legal. Well, sort of. These solvent traps also double as suppressors. And owning a suppressor without the $200 tax stamp is fucking illegal. Apparently the ATF has been contacting people who have bought these things.
I recently shot a suppressed .45 at the range. It was 180. Not necessarily worth the $200 tax stamp, but 180 nonetheless. Would be especially 180 on an SBR, but that's another $200 tax stamp. |
