Can you give 30 day notice on a Month-to-month lease before it begins?

Date: July 25th, 2016 5:41 PM Author: Motley Offensive Home currently month-to-month (1 year lease rolled over after 1 year). GF moved in a while ago, but landlord wants me to sign a new month-to-month lease with her on it, but starting sept 1st.
we don't really like the place and have been looking to move. if we sign a new M2M lease today that's starting on sept 1st, if we find a new place quickly and want to move, could we turn around and give our 30 day notice, say, next week. |
