one guy was sort of a dick about it, but he's a well known aspie so I just ignored him. he complained to the partner about me though, which is funny because the partner is a bro and had my back 100%. |

They gave me 4 days for the funeral and preparations. On days 5-7(when the actual funeral fell) I was allowed to be out of the office but was expected to answer every email and Bill a reasonable amount.
On day 8, my 13 year old niece, who my dad basically raised because HER dad died when she was younger was a mess so I wanted a day, at my sister's request, to be out of the office to basically talk to console her. I even said I would use my vacation days whatever. The Jew partner said no. I said lol ok well I'm going anyway. He said that I have to be there. I didn't show up to the office and got fired. Last day I practiced law. |
